About

Us

Black History Month is an annual celebration of the history, lives and culture of the African diaspora. Black History month is celebrated in Ireland and UK from the 1st to the 31st of October, and in February in North America. We are excited to say that this Black History Month 2022, Ireland has its own theme which has been developed to suit the unique position of the Black, Brown, African and African Irish communities in Ireland.
